AUTISM AWARENESS TRAINING

What the training will cover:

    The Autism Awareness Training provides a better understanding of Autism and how its diagnosed. Participants will learn the wide variety of supports some people require and how different Autism can present from one person to the next.

    We will also explore some of the most effective ways to support people with Autism and methods to adjust behaviours, including reinforcement systems, prompting, chaining and shaping designed to learn new behaviours and adapt to expectations. Additionally, participants will learn about communication support, technology options, visual strategies, instructional resources and support plans.
